Tour Overview

All tours include any admission fee, car and travel expenses with your qualified tour guide, Michelle Rhodes. Light snacks and drinks will be provided free of charge during the day. A lunch time break of about 45 minutes will be included at an appropriate location for you to purchase a meal if required.

Day Tour Pickup Points

We will pickup tour customers from Portree Tourist Information Centre at 9:30 am. If pickup at the Portree Tourist Information centre is inconvenient, an alternative pickup location can be agreed.

Tour Transport & Insurance

We offer a personalised service, this means a comfortable maximum of 4 people per day tour. The vehicle is fully insured and we carry additional public liability insurance.

Customised Tours

My itineraries reflect the outstanding variety of Skye's natural heritage and history. The tours to choose from have been carefully selected to optimise your tour, however if you have something particular in mind I would be delighted and more than happy to build a custom tour of Skye to fit your requirements. The history and heritage day tours are designed to maximize your experience of Skye, I have the knowledge and experience to arrange your bespoke private tour. The tours are perfect for couples, small groups, family touring, individual travellers, students, small company business tours and corporate groups, who prefer that extra level of comfort.

Payment for a Tour

Payment for any day tour can be made based upon the following methods:

•  Cash by registered post (please contact to discuss before posting)

•  Bank Transfer

•  Deposit Payment on the day booked (a deposit of £20 per person booked)

•  Payment in full on the day of the tour by agreement

•  Paypal

NOTE: Days for any tour must be agreed by Skye History and Heritage Tours by email or telephone. Please contact us to confirm any preferred dates.
